This past week at church, we had the honor of hearing from a special guest—Drolor Bosso Adamtey I. His message deeply resonated with me and echoed something I had already been reflecting on: the contrast between disease and ease.
He spoke about the power of presence, and something clicked in my spirit. He said, “Stop looking in the rearview mirror. It holds you back from the present moment.” That struck me.
As he said it, I visualized a highway—clear, vivid, and expansive. For a brief moment, it felt like I was truly seeing it for the first time. And in that clarity, I realized: my past no longer holds me. It felt clean, processed. I wasn’t carrying baggage anymore. That realization gave me ease, peace, and freedom.
The message didn’t stop there. He reminded us that healing comes by many means, and all are rooted in God’s love and wisdom:
God heals through His word
Prayer and fasting
Faith and compassion
Prophetic word
Medicine, proper diet, and exercise
Rest
Repentance and a positive attitude
Sowing and generosity
It’s a holistic view—spiritual, emotional, and physical. Healing isn’t just about removing sickness, it’s about restoring alignment with who God created us to be.
This week, I’m leaning into that alignment. I’m releasing what’s behind me, stepping fully into the present, and allowing space for ease—because that’s where healing lives.
